Nationally recognized journalist SAUNDRA AMRHEIM will discuss and sign GREEN CARD STORIES, a coffee table style book that depicts 50 recent U.S. immigrants - each with permanent residence or citizenship. Amhrhein’s powerfully written dramatic essays are illustrated with compelling portraits by award-winning photographer Ariana Lindquist in collaboration with immigration lawyers and scholars Laura Danielson & Stephen Yale-Loehr. Each story is as old as the foundation of this nation, but also reflects the global trends and conflicts of the 21st century, cutting through the rhetoric of the current immigration debate.
