ABOUT THE BOOK: In PANORAMA, debut novelist Steve Kistulentz traverses the rich inner lives of his increasingly connected cast of characters, from the very passengers of the flight to the unknowing crew on the ground to innocent passersby, caught by chance in this web of disaster, loss, and grief. At the center of this powerful, kaleidoscopic debut is Richard MacMurray, a cable news talking head who must take stock of his own life when the crash transforms from just another tragedy gone viral, eerily familiar yet distinctly horrifying, to the very moment that punctuates his life, creating a distinct before and after.
“A heartbreaking but ultimately heartfilling day in the life of a country in existential crisis, a panorama of points of view, and a novel about the ways we lose and find one another. Just read it.” —Tom Franklin, New York Times bestselling author of Crooked Letter, Crooked Letter
